BTS Coming to the US!!

So recently I've been informed that one of my favorite groups name BTS, short for Bangtan Boys, are coming to Anaheim, California in 2017. My friend showed me that she has purchased tickets and it made me sad. I really wanted to go but I didn't know until last minute so I can't go sadly. It'll be cool though because they're coming to the US and it'll be announced everywhere. I'm pretty excited to see the videos my friend posts on whatever she's posting them on. If anyone else is going, know I'm jealous and also happy for ya. Can't wait to see videos posted everywhere so I can cry myself to sleep. I remember BTS came to kcon earlier this year so it'd be nice to have them visit again. Once I have enough money to go to their concerts, I will be attending one. Also money to travel, can't forget that. Someday my dream will come true but that'll be many lifetimes in the future. Maybe going to Seoul myself and trying to meet them myself in person would make my dreams become true. Some of them know English so I'm good on that part. I'm also learning Korean so maybe by the time I get to go visit Seoul, I'll already know some Korean. Then again, who knows what would happen. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

My Thoughts about Mamamoo

Mamamoo is a four member all female girl group that debuted back in 2014 under RBW and CJ E&M. They are a very talented group and they aren't getting the love they deserve. If you were to listen to a live version with the MR removed, you would see how stable their voices are even when they are dancing. On the social media apps I use, I follow people who also like k-pop and I see them also getting upset because they also agree with the fact that Mamamoo is underappreciated. I think it's that people don't know much about them or they just don't like them but what I don't understand is why they don't like them. Maybe it's because they're so talented. A person I know personally is my cousin and she always gets mad when I talk bad about them because she also thinks they're extremely talented but obviously I'm joking because I like them too. People should show them some love. They recently released a full album called "Memory" and it's a really good one honestly. The album cover is the one with the big "M" on it. My favorite song on the album is called "Decalcomanie" and it's their top song on that album. Give it a listen, I'm pretty sure you won't regret it. If you do I give you permission to hate me. My Recommendation of the Day

The group I'm going to recommend is a girl group called Twice. Twice is a nine member girl group under the record label called JYP. The names of the members are Jihyo, Mina, Momo, Tzuyu, Sana, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung. Three of the members are Japanese though, the rest of them are Korean. They were formed by JYP in 2015 because they were on a reality TV show called Sixteen. They have been a pretty popular group because they are so cute and lovable, I think so. They one of my top favorite groups so far and their music is great. I honestly don't care about what anyone says, I think they're good. I really hope they continue to release new music as much as they can while still getting rest. They just released a mini album called "TWICEcoaster: LANE 1." The new hit song is called TT and it's about a girl who likes a guy and for reasons she can't have him. They have two mini albums that are already released. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's excited for them to make more music. I really hope you guys are up to giving them some time to listen to music. I can't promise you that you'd like them because it all depends on the person who's listening to them.

The 2016 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) Music Awards

The Mnet Asian Music Awards is a ceremony for every k-pop artist in any record labels and they are held annually during the winter season. The first ceremony was held 18 years ago and they are still going on this year. Fans get the chance to vote for their favorite artists to win an award and some of those awards are artist of the year and album of the year. There are many artists and they all have a chance to win but they'll need their fans to vote for them so they can win.

If you want to vote for your favorite groups, then search up the MAMA 2016 and it should pop up. You can also use it to find new artists because you may want to find some new groups to listen to.

The Koreaweeaboo: First Post

Now here's a little backstory about how I got into k-pop. I was in 6th grade at the time and my sister showed it to me to see if I liked it or not, and I'm pretty sure the answer is obvious. Anyway, I went to my cousin's house to spend the weekend with them and it was kind of a last minute thing but he got invited by his friend to go bowling for his birthday. While we were there my cousin's friend named Brian was listening to it. Brian was the one to show my sister and she was the one to show me. Anyway he knew that my sister showed me the songs he showed her and at the bowling alley he showed me more songs to see if I liked it and it was pretty good. The rest of 6th grade I listened to it but when the year ended I stopped listening because I wasn't sure on what kind of music I was into yet. It took me a while but I figured out that I was into many genres but k-pop is one of the main ones.

The first k-pop group I've ever listened to was the group named Big Bang and this was a long time ago because you can tell about the hair. I guess the emo haircut was popular back then lol

The purpose of this blog is to keep people informed with many k-pop groups because many others only focus on one group at most. It's also for people's entertainment so nothing that serious. Literally anyone can read it because it's for anyone who wants to read it. This blog is also for people who want to get into k-pop but don't know much about it.

Rolling With My Role Model

The person I look up to is Lalisa Manoban. She's a singer and dancer for the group BLACKPINK and she's the youngest. She's my role model because she's silly at times but when it's time to be serious she's serious. It's weird because when she's joking around you see her as that kind of person but when you see her being serious you get all confused. She influences me to be an outgoing person and I've been an outgoing person ever her group has debuted.

She's my favorite out of the others in the group. I hope to meet her one of these days when she comes to the US. Her nickname is Lisa and she's from Thailand. I didn't know until I actually did some research because they were new and I enjoyed listening to their music. The other members are also really good but Lisa was the one who interested me the most.

10 Instant Happies

Here's a list of my 10 instant happies in order and why they are my instant happies. Number 10 is my iPod, the reason is because without it I wouldn't be able to watch my favorite k-pop groups, BLACKPINK and Exo and that makes me happy. I also use my iPod for social media of course but mostly for videos. Number nine goes to my bed because that's where I sleep and sleeping makes me happy. My number eight instant happy are the memes I see on Instagram. They're hilarious at times and they make me happy. Number seven is my sketchbook because that's where I can express my emotions or I can just do random things drawing wise. Number six goes to sweaters. I love sweaters only when it's the winter time and they make me happy. Number five is when someone runs their fingers through my hair and scratches my head because that makes me sleepy and happy at the same time. Number four is the pizza and wings I eat but not everyday. Number three goes to the dank anime I love to watch. Number two is when I see my family and friends. Number one is the happiness that my dogs give me when I get home from school and work. I know they wait for me to return from the moment I leave the house.

Watching
I don't really watch much but I'm still pretty upset about Glenn being killed by Negan. Glenn was one of my favorite characters and his death impacted me the most out of everyone that has died in The Walking Dead. I wish that he didn't die but then again I wish no one else died in the show but if people didn't die in the show then it wouldn't be where it's at right now.

Listening
Oh man, my Monday is going fine so far. I'm through half of the day and it's as bad as I thought it'd be. I'm pretty damn excited because my favorite group called BLACKPINK. They announced that their new songs were going to be released on November 1st but they were already released today on halloween. One thing they should've done was release a full length album because they only have 4 songs at the moment, two old and two new. Plus one of the old songs is getting an acoustic version and that's the final song they'll be releasing with their new mini album. Since that's the final song to be released so I'm pretty excited for that because it's going to be acoustic. The songs they released were not what I was expecting but they are really good.

Thinking
I'm currently thinking about things are gonna go on towards the end of the year and possibly next year. It stresses me out but when it comes, I'm gonna be ready for them when they come but I tend to overthink things and I hate that about me. Nothing I can about it. I'm also thinking about Christmas where I'll spend time with my family. I hope that my uncle's family members don't go because no one likes them honestly because of issues but oh well.
